Volleyball Recap: Bellingham Has No Trouble Against King Philip Regional

Bellingham won the last time they faced King Philip Regional and things went their way on Monday too. The Blackhawks put the hurt on the Warriors with a sharp 3-0 victory.

Bellingham was especially dominant in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-12, 26-24.

Bellingham found their leader in sophomore Lucas Lahousse, who had 11 digs. Those 11 digs set a new season-high mark for Lahousse.

Bellingham was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 15 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since April 2nd.

Despite the defeat, King Philip Regional had strong showings from Neal Weake, who had 16 digs, and Charlie Moon, who had ten digs. Those digs marked the first that Moon has had this season.

Bellingham is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. As for King Philip Regional, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-9.

Coming up, Bellingham will face off against Hopkinton at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for King Philip Regional, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Attleboro on the 29th.
