Basketball Recap: Elgin Comes Up Short

Elgin suffered their closest loss since December 21, 2024 on Friday. They fell just short of the Pine Eagle Spartans by a score of 51-48. The Huskies were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Spartans earlier this season, when they won 62-47.

Elgin has also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 6-16 record this season. As for Pine Eagle, their victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-11 and their overall record up to 4-20.

As of now, neither Elgin nor Pine Eagle have any future games scheduled.
