Soccer Recap: Walpole Takes a Loss

Walpole was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Stoughton Black Knights. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Stoughton this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-3 last Tuesday.

Walpole's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Stoughton, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-3-2 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Walpole will square off against Foxborough at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Stoughton, they will challenge Milton at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
