Basketball Recap: Algonac Takes a Loss

Algonac was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a blow against the North Branch Broncos, falling 51-20. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Broncos this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 38-32 back in December of 2024.

Algonac's loss dropped their record down to 5-11. As for North Branch, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-10.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Algonac will welcome Almont at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for North Branch, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Armada at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
