Basketball Game Preview: Denver Jewish Day Tigers vs. Front Range Baptist Falcons

The Denver Jewish Day Tigers will face off against the Front Range Baptist Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Denver Jewish Day took a 25-point defeat the last time they faced off against Denver Waldorf, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. Denver Jewish Day sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 42-39 win over Denver Waldorf on Wednesday. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Spartans recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Denver Jewish Day's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Solly Bielsky, who went 10 for 19 to rack up 27 points. That makes it seven consecutive games in which Bielsky has scored at least a third of Denver Jewish Day's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jackson Brooks, who posted two points along with 18 boards, five assists, and five steals.

Denver Jewish Day was working as a unit and finished the game with 14 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Denver Waldorf only racked up six assists.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Front Range Baptist, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They came out on top against Denver Waldorf by a score of 55-45 on Friday.

Front Range Baptist's win bumped their record up to 11-6. As for Denver Jewish Day, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

Denver Jewish Day was able to grind out a solid victory over Front Range Baptist when the teams last played back in March of 2024, winning 52-41. Does Denver Jewish Day have another victory up their sleeve, or will Front Range Baptist turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
