You can't lose the matchup if you win every quarter, and that was precisely the Wabash Valley HomeSchool Warriors's strategy against Varsity Opponent on Saturday. Wabash Valley HomeSchool managed a 59-54 win over Varsity Opponent. The win made it back-to-back wins for Wabash Valley HomeSchool.

Wabash Valley HomeSchool got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Gavin Sutton out in front who almost dropped a double-double on 21 points and nine rebounds. It was the first time this season that Sutton pulled down eight or more rebounds. Another player making a difference was Jacob Layton, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 11 rebounds.

Wabash Valley HomeSchool has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a massive bump to their 12-10 record this season. As for Varsity Opponent, they have not been sharp recently as the team has lost 32 of their last 35 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 396-1454-2 record this season.
