Baseball Recap: Ferris Takes a Loss

Ferris lost against Godley last Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Ferris Yellowjackets lost 15-3 to the Godley Wildcats. The Yellowjackets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Ky Creek made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole Two bases. while going 2-for-3. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games he's played.

Ferris' defeat dropped their record down to 5-7-3. As for Godley, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-3-1 record this season.

Ferris will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Malakoff at 10:00 a.m. As for Godley, they are taking a road trip to square off against Venus at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Godley's pitching crew has only allowed 2.7 runs per game this season, so Venus' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
