After only 15 points in their last contest, Bogalusa made sure to put some points up on the board against Mt. Hermon on Tuesday. The Lumberjacks simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Yellowjackets 59-24. Considering the Lumberjacks' offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Despite the loss, Mt. Hermon still got an impressive performance from Tyalvin Tate, who posted eight points and 12 rebounds. Tate is crushing it when it comes to boards: he's pulled down at least ten every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Marcus Daniels, who had four points and six rebounds.

Bogalusa's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Mt. Hermon, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

Looking ahead, Bogalusa will square off against Broadmoor at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Mt. Hermon, they will take on Port Allen at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
