Volleyball Recap: Hugoton Falls Short of Andale in the Playoffs

Hugoton and Andale squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Hugoton had to settle for second. They fell 2-0 to the Indians. The Eagles' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-5, 25-12.

Among those leading the charge was Carley Keller, who had eight digs and four aces. What's more, she posted four assists, the most she's had over her last seven matchups. Another player making a difference was Mia Aouad, who had 12 assists and four digs.

Hugoton's loss dropped their record down to 5-30. As for Andale, the victory was the 18th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 30-1.

Hugoton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Andale, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Abilene on the 25th.
