Recap: Harding Skippers vs. Mathews Mustangs

The Harding Skippers waltzed into their match Friday with two straight wins but they left with three. They breezed by Mathews at home to the tune of 90-54. Considering Harding has won three matchups by more than 26 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Harding got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was James Gadomski out in front who shot 4-for-10 from downtown and dropped a double-double on 38 points and ten rebounds. The contest was Gadomski's seventh in a row with at least ten points. Joshua Parsons was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 22 points and ten rebounds.

Harding pushed their record up to 5-2 with that victory, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Mathews, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-2.

Harding will stay at home for another game and welcome Pymatuning Valley at 7:00 p.m. on January 9th. One thing working in Pymatuning Valley's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season. As for Mathews, they will head out on the road to face off against Windham at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Windham is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.
