Soccer Recap: Lighthouse Baptist Academy Wins Going Away Against East Hill Christian

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lighthouse Baptist Academy). They put the hurt on the East Hill Christian Eagles with a sharp 8-1 win on Monday. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 8-1.

The victory made it two in a row for Lighthouse Baptist Academy and bumps their season record up to 3-1. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 15 goals over those two matches. As for East Hill Christian, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.

East Hill Christian has already played their next contest, a 7-1 defeat against Aletheia Christian Academy on the 16th. Hopefully Lighthouse Baptist Academy paid attention to the Eagles' game: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Eagles at 4:30 p.m. on October 6.
