Flag Football Game Preview: Seaside Spartans vs. Everett Alvarez Eagles + How To Watch

The Seaside Spartans will venture away from home to challenge the Everett Alvarez Eagles at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Seaside is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.

Seaside is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against North Monterey County on Tuesday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Spartans were dealt a 46-0 defeat at the hands of the Condors. While losing is never fun, the Spartans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California flag football rankings (they are ranked 709th, while the Condors are ranked 278th).

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Everett Alvarez's offense. They took a 6-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of North Salinas on Tuesday.

Everett Alvarez's loss dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Seaside, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-10.

Seaside couldn't quite get it done against Everett Alvarez in their previous meeting back in September as they fell 19-12. Can the Spartans avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
