Soccer Recap: West Valley Takes a Loss

West Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Wasilla Warriors. That's two games in a row now that West Valley have lost by just one goal.

Their goal came courtesy of Anna Baysinger, who's now up to two this season.

West Valley now has a losing record of 4-5-1. As for Wasilla, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-2-1.

Looking ahead, West Valley will be playing at home against Colony at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. West Valley's defense better be ready for this one: Colony have averaged an impressive 3.6 goals per game this season. As for Wasilla, they will head out on the road to square off against North Pole at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
