Baseball Recap: Frederick Comes Up Short

Frederick was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 10-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hollis Tigers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bombers of the 16-13 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2021.

Frederick's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Hollis, they moved to 11-5 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Coincidentally, Frederick and Hollis will both be playing Granite the next time they take the field. The Bombers will host Granite at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, while the Tigers will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
