Basketball Game Preview: Sabinal Yellowjackets vs. D'Hanis Cowboys

Sabinal and D'Hanis are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2017, but not for long. The Sabinal Yellowjackets will finish 2024 at home by hosting the D'Hanis Cowboys at 1:30 p.m. on Friday. Sabinal is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak.

Last Friday, Sabinal took a blow against Falls City, falling 65-25. The game marked the Yellowjackets' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Meanwhile, D'Hanis entered their contest against Knippa on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. D'Hanis fell just short of Knippa by a score of 53-50. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Cowboys have suffered since December 27, 2023.

D'Hanis' loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-3. As for Sabinal, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-9.
