Savannah Rester leads Sunnydale Academy to victory over North Missouri HomeSchool

Sunnydale Academy had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 31.5 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They secured a 46-41 W over North Missouri HomeSchool. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Sunnydale Academy also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2022.

Savannah Rester was her usual excellent self, scoring 20 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Sunnydale Academy's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kassie Abrahamson, who scored 11 points.

Sunnydale Academy's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for North Missouri HomeSchool, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sunnydale Academy will take on Heartland Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. North Missouri HomeSchool will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Sunnydale Academy at 6:00 p.m. on January 30, 2024.
