Basketball Recap: DuQuoin Takes a Loss

DuQuoin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 58-32 to the Nashville Hornets. While losing is never fun, the Indians can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 345th, while the Hornets are ranked 95th).

DuQuoin's loss dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Nashville, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 13-5.

DuQuoin wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 65-41 win against Trico on the 18th. Nashville has also already played their next contest (against Mater Dei), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
