Soccer Recap: Berthoud Beats Fort Morgan for Their Third Straight Win

Berthoud won the last time they faced Fort Morgan and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Spartans came out on top in a nail-biter against the Mustangs, sneaking past 2-1. Given Berthoud's advantage in MaxPreps' Colorado soccer rankings (they are ranked 33rd, while Fort Morgan are ranked 131st) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The win was the third in a row for Berthoud, bringing their record up to 3-1. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three games. As for Fort Morgan, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-5.
