Basketball Recap: Irondequoit Comes Up Short

After flying high against Eastridge last Monday, Irondequoit came back down to earth. The Irondequoit Eagles took a 62-48 bruising from the Webster Schroeder Warriors on Friday. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Warriors recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

Irondequoit's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Webster Schroeder, their win bumped their record up to 6-9.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Irondequoit will welcome Gates Chili at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Irondequoit is facing Gates Chili at the right time seeing as Gates Chili is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Webster Schroeder, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Franklin at 2:15 p.m. on Saturday. Webster Schroeder has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 172 points over their last three contests.
