Westtown skates past Solebury with ease

Recap: Westtown vs. Solebury Spartans

Westtown had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They blew past Solebury 92-52 on the road.

Solebury's lost on Sunday despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Tyler Simpson, who scored 16 points. The matchup was Simpson's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Makhai Anderson , who scored 11 points along with 7 rebounds.

Westtown's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Solebury, they now have a losing record at 1-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Westtown will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Bullis at 4:00 p.m. on December 22nd. As for Solebury, they will be playing at home against Phelps at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
