Vandalia has gone 9-1 against Greenville recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Vandals are taking a road trip to take on the Comets at 5:00 p.m. Vandalia has now lost 12 straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since September 20.

On Monday, Vandalia came up short against Carlyle and fell 2-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-13.

Meanwhile, Greenville had to endure a ten-match losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over East Alton-Wood River on Monday.

Greenville easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-11.

Greenville's win bumped their record up to 7-19-2. As for Vandalia, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-27-1.

Vandalia was able to grind out a solid victory over Greenville in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, winning 2-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Vandals since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
