Volleyball Game Preview: Hudson Catholic Hawks vs. Harrison Blue Tide

The Hudson Catholic Hawks will be taking part in a tournament against the Harrison Blue Tide at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Hudson Catholic lost 3-0 to Bridgewater-Raritan last Wednesday. The contest marked the first time this year in which the Hawks were not able to get on the board.

Meanwhile, Harrison was able to grind out a solid win over North Bergen on Wednesday, taking the game 2-0. The Blue Tide haven't had any issues with the Bruins recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

While Harrison won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 26-24.

Hudson Catholic better keep an eye on Brayan Andrade. He was instrumental in Harrison's win, getting 13 digs and three assists. That's the most assists Andrade has posted since back in May of 2024.

Having lost for the first time this season, Hudson Catholic fell to 14-1. As for Harrison, their win bumped their record up to 21-2.

Hudson Catholic came up short against Harrison when the teams last played back in May of 2024, falling 2-0. Can the Hawks avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
