Yareilis Santiago-Campos and Taylor Murphy did some serious damage despite the final result: Santiago-Campos went 3-for-4 with four stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI, while Murphy went a perfect 3-for-3 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Santiago-Campos is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last seven games she's played.

Maritime Academy Charter has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-6-1 record this season. Those defeats can't be blamed on the team's hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.8 runs over those games. As for Bodine, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-4.

Looking ahead, Maritime Academy Charter will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against First Philadelphia Prep at 3:15 p.m. As for Bodine, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 12-10 loss against Carver High School of Engineering & Science on the 6th.
