After a string of 13 wins, Shelby's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They took a 67-54 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bellevue Redmen. While losing is never fun, the Whippets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 52nd, while the Redmen are ranked sixth).

Shelby's defeat ended an eight-game streak of away wins and brought them to 16-2. As for Bellevue, their win was their 20th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 18-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Shelby has already played their next matchup (against Ontario), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
