Baseball Preview: Barren County Trojans vs. Lexington Christian Eagles
The Barren County Trojans will venture away from home to take on the Lexington Christian Eagles at 11:00 a.m. on Monday. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.
Barren County took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-1 victory over Hilliard Darby. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Trojans have posted since March 21st.
Sutton Hyde made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits.
