Anthony Wayne extended their postseason success on Sunday against Olmsted Falls. They strolled past the Olmsted Falls Bulldogs with points to spare, taking the game 56-40. The victory was familiar territory for the Generals, who have now won 16 games in a row.

Leading Anthony Wayne to victory were Elise Bender and Brooke Bender. Elise dropped a double-double with 24 points and ten rebounds, while Brooke dropped a double-double with 15 points and 13 boards. Elise has been hot recently, having posted nine or more boards the last three times she's played. Leah Pike was another key player, putting up eight points along with six rebounds and five assists.

Anthony Wayne pushed their record up to 24-2 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 26.5 points on average over those games. As for Olmsted Falls, their loss dropped their record down to 21-6-1.

Coming up, Anthony Wayne will face off against Winton Woods at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Winton Woods will roll in looking for their 27th straight victory, something Anthony Wayne surely won't give up without a fight. Olmsted Falls does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
