Baseball Game Preview: Rosman Tigers vs. Madison Patriots

Rosman hasn't had much luck against Madison recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Tigers will be playing at home against the Patriots at 4:30 p.m. Rosman has given up an average of 13 runs per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Rosman is headed into Monday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game last Tuesday. They lost 37-1 to Mountain Heritage.

Rosman saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Michael Scott, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI. Micah Carr was another, earning one run and two stolen bases.

Meanwhile, Madison suffered their closest loss since February 25th on Tuesday. They fell just short of Draughn by a score of 7-5. The Patriots just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Chance Penland was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-2 with two runs and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Max Shelton, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Madison's loss dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Rosman, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-12.
