It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Lyman had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Burke Cougars with a sharp 61-37 victory. The Raiders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 games by 20 points or more this season.

Paige Bull and Emmie Hausmann certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. Bull dropped a double-double with 12 points and ten rebounds, while Hausmann posted 12 points in addition to six boards and five assists. That's the most rebounds Hausmann has posted since back in December of 2024.

Lyman has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-3 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 23.7 points. Burke's defeat dropped their record down to 14-9.

Looking ahead, Lyman will take on Lemmon at 6:00 p.m. on March 6th. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Lemmon comes in on four and Lyman on three. Burke does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
