Softball Preview: Franklin Lions vs. Lexington Eagles
For the second straight game, Franklin will face off against Lexington. The Lions will be playing in front of their home fans against the Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Franklin has won ten straight at home, while Lexington won three straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
Franklin is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Lexington just ended the team's 14-game winning streak on Tuesday. They lost 14-5 to the Eagles. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Lions have suffered since March 2, 2024.
