Mahomet-Seymour fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back wins it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They came out on top against the Lincoln Railsplitters by a score of 3-1 on Monday. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but Mahomet-Seymour were the better team in the second half.

Colin Jackson and Kade Smith scored all three of Mahomet-Seymour's goals, bringing their combined season tally to nine goals.

Mahomet-Seymour picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 3-6-2. As for Lincoln, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-12.
