Volleyball Recap: Ardmore Comes Up Short

Ardmore lost against Lincoln County back in September of 2019, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Tigers fell 3-1 to the Falcons. While the Tigers didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Falcons 25-20 in the first set.

Ardmore started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 20-25, 25-12, 25-23, 25-14.

Ardmore's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Lincoln County, their victory ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-4.

Coming up, Ardmore is packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will face off against Athens at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lincoln County, they will take on Lawrence County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
