Basketball Recap: Canby Takes a Loss

Canby was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Montevideo Thunderhawks 96-36.

Canby's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Montevideo, their victory was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-0.

Canby will host Tracy-Milroy-Balaton at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Tracy-Milroy-Balaton knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matchups -- so hopefully Canby likes a good challenge. As for Montevideo, they will head out to take on Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Montevideo surely won't give up without a fight.
