Basketball Recap: Oak Harbor Comes Up Short

Oak Harbor lost against Nooksack Valley back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Oak Harbor Wildcats fell 71-62 to the Nooksack Valley Pioneers. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Saturday (61), the Wildcats still had to take the loss.

Oak Harbor is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-14. As for Nooksack Valley, they moved to 8-8 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

When Oak Harbor and Nooksack Valley next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Oak Harbor will try to stop Squalicum's four-game winning streak when the meet at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Similarly, Nooksack Valley will take on Lynden and their 19-game winning streak at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
