Softball Recap: Harding Skippers vs. Chalker Wildcats

Harding was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 9-2 to the Chalker Wildcats. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Harding of the 14-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2022.

For Chalker's part, Kelsey Kren made a splash while hitting and pitching. She pitched 3.1 innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off one hit. Kren has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive pitching appearances.
