Selinsgrove is 8-2 against Shikellamy since May of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Seals will welcome the Braves at 4:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Selinsgrove and Williamsport meet (four straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Friday. The Seals lost 18-3 to the Millionaires.

Selinsgrove saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Griffin Parker, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2. Gavin Landis also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Meanwhile, Shikellamy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against Central Mountain, falling 10-0.

Selinsgrove's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Shikellamy, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.

Selinsgrove skirted past Shikellamy 5-4 in their previous meeting back in May of 2024. Will the Seals repeat their success, or do the Braves have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
