Soccer Game Preview: Eagle Pass vs. Alexander

Eagle Pass hasn't had much luck against Alexander recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Eagles will venture away from home to challenge the Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m.

Eagle Pass fell victim to Laredo LBJ and their airtight defense on Friday. They fell just short of Wolves by a score of 1-0.

Meanwhile, Alexander entered their tilt with Medina Valley on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Panthers by a score of 3-1. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but Alexander were the better team in the second half.

Alexander now has a winning record of 8-7-1. As for Eagle Pass, their loss dropped their record down to 10-7-2.

Eagle Pass came out on top in a nail-biter against Alexander when the teams last played back in March of 2025, sneaking past 1-0. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
