After both having extra time off, they and the Avery Bulldogs will shake off the cobwebs and take on one another at 4:30 p.m. Avery took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Cumby, who comes in off a win.
Last Friday, Cumby beat Pioneer Tech & Arts Academy 3-1.
Cumby was especially dominant in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 24-26, 25-14, 25-18.
Meanwhile, Avery lost 3-0 to Pittsburg two weeks ago. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-10, 25-18.
Cumby's victory bumped their record up to 6-20. As for Avery, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-13.
