Baseball Recap: Aztec Takes a Loss

After flying high against Non Varsity Tournament Opponent on Thursday, Aztec came back down to earth. The Tigers lost 10-0 to the Hope Christian Huskies on Friday. The defeat continues a trend for the Tigers in their meetings with the Huskies: they've now lost three in a row.

Aztec saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tyler Ray, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Aztec's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Hope Christian, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Looking ahead, Aztec will take on Bayfield in a tournament on Thursday. As for Hope Christian, they are taking a road trip to square off against East Mountain at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
