Softball Recap: Fresno Find Success

Fresno's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They walked away with an 8-4 win over the Madera South Stallions. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 17-7 back in April.

Emily Navarro was incredible, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. Those three hits gave her a new career-high. Joselin Tinoco also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.

Fresno's victory bumped their record up to 6-12-1. As for Madera South, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-21.

Coming up, Fresno will be playing at home against San Joaquin Memorial at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Panthers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 19.2 runs per game on average), something the Warriors will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Madera South, they will head out on the road to challenge Hoover at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Stallions will need to watch out since the Patriots have now posted at least ten runs in their last three matchups.
