Preview: Putnam City Pirates vs. Charles Page Sandites
The Putnam City Pirates will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Charles Page Sandites at 6:00 p.m. Putnam City will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Oklahoma Rankings (they are ranked 121st, while the Sandites are ranked 26th).
Last Friday, Putnam City had to suffer through a rough 83-39 loss at the hands of the Bulldogs. Putnam City was down 66-36 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.
Meanwhile, Charles Page scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Enid as Charles Page made off with a 69-43 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Charles Page.
Putnam City's defeat dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Charles Page, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season.
