Volleyball Recap: Middletown Falls Short Against Ranked Archmere Academy

Middletown faced Archmere Academy in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Cavaliers fell 3-1 to the Auks. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cavaliers of the 3-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Middletown's defeat dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Archmere Academy, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-2.

Looking ahead, Middletown will take on ASPIRA Charter at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Archmere Academy, they will venture away from home to face off against St. Mark's at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Auks are facing the Spartans at the right time seeing as the Spartans are stuck on a nine-game losing streak.
