Volleyball Recap: St. Louis University Junior Bills vs. O'Fallon Panthers

After flying high against Christian Brothers on Thursday, St. Louis University came back down to earth. The Junior Bills fell just short of the O'Fallon Panthers by a score of 3-2 on Monday. The Junior Bills were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Panthers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

St. Louis University took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The match finished with set scores of 19-25, 25-21, 21-25, 25-21, 15-12.

Their offense was headlined by Luke Schall and David Justice, who picked up 14 kills apiece. They got some help from Tanner Zippay and his 55 assists. Anthony Ben? and Jack Spowal kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.
