Football Game Preview: West Anchorage Eagles vs. Juneau-Douglas Crimson Bears + How To Watch

The West Anchorage Eagles will square off against the Juneau-Douglas Crimson Bears at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. The timing is sure in West Anchorage's favor as the team sits on six straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while Juneau-Douglas has been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road also dating back to last season.

West Anchorage is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Alaska's top teams: Bartlett, who was ranked fifth at the time (West Anchorage was ranked fourth). The Eagles took a 20-12 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Golden Bears on Friday. The contest marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Meanwhile, Juneau-Douglas strolled past Colony with points to spare on Saturday, taking the game 34-20.

Juneau-Douglas' win bumped their record up to 3-4. As for West Anchorage, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 6-1.
