North Medford proved they can win big on Thursday (they won by three) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Mountain View Cougars. The win continues a trend for the Black Tornado in their matchups with the Cougars: they've now won three in a row.

North Medford's victory bumped their record up to 3-9. As for Mountain View, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-5.

North Medford wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Ashland on the 27th. As for Mountain View, they will square off against Caldera at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Mountain View is facing Caldera at the right time seeing as Caldera is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
