Baseball Recap: Converse Wildcats vs. Stanley Panthers
Converse was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell just short of the Stanley Panthers by a score of 3-2. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Converse of the 3-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture last Tuesday.
Mason Procell made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Brooks Boudreaux, who went 2-for-3 with a stolen base.
Converse's defeat dropped their record down to 10-14. As for Stanley, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 16-7.
