Baseball Recap: Brodhead/Juda Extends Winning Streak to Three

Brodhead/Juda entered their tilt with Delavan-Darien on Thursday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Comets a 3-0 shutout. For the Cardinals, this counts as revenge for the 5-2 victory the Comets walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

Not much got past Sam Searls, who gave up just two hits and racked up seven Ks to keep Delavan-Darien off the board.

At the plate, Brodhead/Juda's win was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Max Pinnow, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Brodhead/Juda's record is now 3-1. As for Delavan-Darien, they now have a losing record of 2-3-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Brodhead/Juda is set to square off against their familiar foe Monroe at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Delavan-Darien will take on rival Big Foot at 4:45 p.m. on Friday.
