After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Holtville, Billingsley was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They came out on top against the Thorsby Rebels by a score of 3-1. This was a revenge game for the Bears: when they faced off against the Rebels last Monday, they had to take a 3-2 loss.

Billingsley walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the fourth set). The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 19-25, 25-16, 25-14.

Billingsley's win bumped their record up to 13-6. As for Thorsby, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-10 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Billingsley will challenge Chilton County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Thorsby, they will square off against Alabama Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
