Basketball Recap: Baldwin County Takes a Loss + How To Watch

It was a proper cat-fight when Baldwin County took on Foley on Friday. The Tigers took a 59-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lions. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lions apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2024.

Despite the loss, Baldwin County saw an underclassman step up: freshman Earvin McCoy Jr. posted 21 points and four steals. Those 21 points set a new season-high mark for McCoy Jr. Another player making a difference was Brycen Stewart, who scored six points along with nine boards and three blocks.

This is the second loss in a row for Baldwin County and nudges their season record down to 2-2. As for Foley, the win also got them back to even at 2-2.

Looking ahead, Baldwin County will take on St. Paul's Episcopal at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Foley, they will face off against Mobile Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
