Softball Recap: Hampton County Takes a Loss

Hampton County entered their matchup against Hilton Head Island on Monday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Hurricanes lost 11-1 to the Seahawks. The contest marked the Hurricanes' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Hampton County and nudges their season record down to 6-5. As for Hilton Head Island, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-12 record this season.

Hampton County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hilton Head Island, they will welcome Beaufort at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
