Volleyball Recap: Thomas MacLaren School Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Thomas MacLaren School lost against St. Mary back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Highlanders fell just short of the Pirates by a score of 2-1.

Thomas MacLaren School actually scored more points across those three sets (59-54), but sadly they still had to settle for second. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 13-25, 16-14.

Sara Christensen paced Thomas MacLaren School's offense, picking up six kills. Christensen got some help from Jane Ambuul and her ten assists. Evelyn Divine controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Thomas MacLaren School's loss ended a three-match streak of away wins and brought them to 12-7. As for St. Mary's, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-11.

Thomas MacLaren School wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Prospect Ridge Academy on the 25th. As for St. Mary's, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Eagle Ridge Academy on the 25th.
